In a law firm, Information Technology represents an important part of the infrastructure. It includes data and communication systems, for stored data, documents/records in use and transit, both from the firm itself and from its clients.

The continuous training of the team represents a differentiating factor to gain proficiency in the use of technologies. At the same time, it reduces the risks associated with its use.

Law Firm’s administrator related to Information Technology responsibilities includes the ability to plan and manage operational technology, constantly review systems, processes, and equipment, and ensure data security. Consequently, it is necessary to stay ahead of trends and in continuous innovation.

Cybersecurity incidents can lead to reputational damage, lost productivity, intellectual property theft, operational disruptions, and recovery costs. Security policies and procedures need to be established sooner rather than later and ensure their implementation and compliance.

Clients demand security of their data and times of change are telling us that it is no longer just practicing law. To remain competitive, it is embracing digital transformation and all that it implies.
